My personal goal is to be able to sensitively capture the complex issues of the environmental field, but also to discover the worlds within the world and make a difference. Telling histories through images is my passion.
Hey. I'm a photographer and videomaker based in Manaus, Amazonas, with an interest in socio-environmental coverage.
In 2020, I joined the communications team of the Sustainable Amazon Foundation (FAS) as an intern and, two years later, I returned to the institution as an audiovisual analyst. In between, I started writing for ((o))eco, an environmental journalism website where I contributed reports, news, scripts and webstories. I was also part of the "Amazônia" web series, a partnership project between the Em Tempo portal and Google, where I took part in the development of mini-documentaries about the region and its social issues.
In addition, I wrote the book "Te ouviço ecoar: registros contemporâneos da luta pela causa indígena na Amazônia" (I hear you echoing: contemporary records of the struggle for the indigenous cause in the Amazon), which is in the process of being published and won the Expojor prize and also the Intercom Regional - North prize.
